The degree of wear of the nozzles may be easily verified using the capacity measurement jug.
The jug:

is essential for sprayer control
•
checks the capacity in lt/min
•
has a nominal capacity of 1.7 litres
•
has a graduated scale of value that is visible and easy to consult
Note that the capacity can only be measured on those nozzles that comply with ISO standards.
The checks may be made by using clean water and the spraying machine that is available.
The capacity reading is made by placing the jug under the nozzle spray, which must be delivered at a constant pressure of 3 bar for the set time (to determine the time, simply use a stop watch or a watch with second hands).
After making the check, all nozzles that exceed their nominal capacity by 10% will have to be rejected and replaced as they are worn.
